The power level of a rift can be checked by right-clicking it and selecting "Check power". This will charge up the rift - by a base of 3.33% for regular and 6.66% for enhanced fragments.

If the player does not have sufficient energy then memories will be converted into a smaller amount of experience. Using this option converts memories into Divination experience, consuming energy to grant a larger amount of experience.
